Kim Gentes Reviews: Decades in Modern Worship (A Timeline)

A Visual Interactive Guide to Modern Worship Reviews

Here is a complete timeline history of all the reviews of worship recordings that Kim has done. This represents 15 years of worship.

Note that your favorite CD may not be on here. This isn't meant to be a comprehensive list of all CDs in worship produced across that timeline, only a list of ones Kim was captured with at the time. Some you like, some you won't. For the most part, Kim liked them. After 15 years of consideration, some have fallen out of taste favor, some have increased.

Browse the selection, and when you want to check that CD out in detail, click on the link inside the detailed information about the CD.

We hope you find this interesting, and enjoyable!

To use: move your cursor across the timeline/dots to expose albums. Click on any dot or popup bubble to read the album preview. Inside each preview is a link to see the full review.

This timeline is the result of years of work, not just the time in listening, evaluating and writing these particular reviews, but the thousands of requests and (which turned into) hundreds of albums I have sat down and listened all the way through. Very likely, I will continue to add to it, as I review more resources.  I hope that you enjoy this timeline and feel free to browse the rest of KimGentes.com, which has (literally) hundreds of other free resources, articles, downloads, videos and more. I pray it enriches and encourages worship in you and your local church.

Nice resource! A few humble suggestions: please review Matt Maher's two worshiptogether releases (Empty & Beautiful and Alive Again). He has more from another label, but these two were the two that reached national distribution and radio. Also, I happen to think Glenn Kaiser's worship albums deserve to be reviewed ("No Greater Love" from his Grrr imprint) fits within your timeline. And, personally, the most underrated worship songwriter out there is someone you've never heard of, does not have a record deal, and is happily plowing away at a Catholic parish in New Jersey; but you really owe it to yourself to discover the genius that is Bob Filoramo (www.bobfiloramo.com), and particularly his first album.
